Gabriel Park nears completion

Gabriel Park Skatepark almost complete

Airspeed gave us a preview of the Gabriel Park skatepark today. Its super fun and sure to be popular. Opening is slated for July. Click to see it bigger

Gabriel Park Geth and Stephanie

Thanks to Geth and Stephanie and the Airspeed crew, the park looks great.
Here’s a view from the two-foot tractor seat shallow end into the nine-foot wall and Geth checking out the action as Stephanie goes for the grind in the shallow end.

The setting is very pleasant. The park was seeing a lot of use today in the first sunny day we’ve seen in a while. Dog walkers, tennis players, even sand volleyball players were all out. The parking lot was crowded.

Looks amazing. Yeah, based on my visits over there to check on progress, parking may be the only problem with this skate park. Please post when it’s open (if before July 11). Thanks.
